What is the best acne treatment for your back?

I have struggled with back acne for a long time, and it is embarrassing to wear swimsuits and tank tops. I have heard of Murad acne spray, but I’m not sure if it works. What treatments/washes/sprays are the most effective?

Two things have always worked for me (who has had baddddd bacne) and honestly the two best things to use are: Neutrogena acne body wash (it’s orange) and honestly, bar soap. Bar soap is really good for your skin, and it cleared my skin up more than anything else I could have used. It takes away your body oil and it clears your skin up fast. AND it’s cheap!
I used proactive, worth ever penny. I had acne so bad, I had to wear boxer shorts over my underpants, so my legs wouldn’t touch each other, that’s how broke out I was.

There is a soap that you can use I don’t remember what is called though but go to any pharmacy you might find something like that.

Use the Neutrogena Acne Body Wash…it worked wonders for me. I had horrible embarrasing back acne until I started using that stuff. It is amazing.
Anything off the Clearasil line or you could do what I do and use rubbing alchol.
I use aloe vera cause I get it too. and some of the times it is kind of embarrasing like you said but just put the aloe vera and it shouldget the oil out of your skin in no time.
murad work pretty good for the face but i had a little bit just wash your back really good in the shower and make sure your shirts always clean after sports and stuff.

I say proactives face mask. I know sounds to hard to apply every night, but it works. Or, theres the 3 steps of proactive and you can just use the liquid step and you should get results. I did!

When I stopped using regular body wash and started using the same bar soap that I used on my face, my back really got better. Try Dove beauty bar. Works wonders, face and body!
i have bacne too. in the summer, it clears up. i guess from the sun and chroline from the pool. but i still use this brand called Oxy. It will dry all of the zits away!!!! Good luck

there is isotane which is a prescription drug, that works really well but it has bad side affects like dry and sensitive skin and can cause depression, or there is ‘natralia nourish’.
that you can get over the counter and it works fairly well

Stuff you see on TV is all B.S. believe me I’ve tried them all, such as proactive.
Have you talked to a doctor? The best stuff out there is the stuff your doctor and/or a Dermatologist can give with a prescription. Some treatments require a little patience but if you apply them as often as your doctor instructs then you will be acne free and stay acne free like I have for over 2 years now and still going strong.
here stuff i do to get rid of acne all over
Grind nutmeg with unboiled milk and apply on affected area. This works as a magic. Pimples should disappear without leaving a mark.
Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.
Apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.
Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.
Mix 1 tablespoon groundnut oil with 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples .
Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & other skin infections.
Apply a paste of fresh fenugreek leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
Apply juice of raw papaya (including the skin and seed) on swelling pimples.
Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash for pimples.
Mix lime juice and rose water in equal portions. Apply on affected area. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes with lukewarm water.
Apply ripe tomatoes pulp on pimples and kept up to 1 hour, then wash.

Most acne that occurs from your chin and downward is mostly due to an imbalance of hormones and poor diet. Most topical creams and cleansers will not work. Acne starts from within so you have to treat from the inside. Drink *lots* of water (with fresh lemon wedges…helps cleanse the liver) do not eat a lot of refine sugars and dairy…if you like your dairy…switch to organic…no hormones added in the dairy…which regular dairy has a lot of estrogen [same with chicken] ) So look for more into the organic foods….all those additives, pesticides and chemicals that you ingest does havoc on your skin. And when you cleanse your skin…use a mild soap…not any of those harsh acne fighting soaps…you are just irritating the skin with all of those chemicals as well. Sensitive skin needs a mild cleanser. Also make sure your bed sheets and pillow cases are changed on a regular basis as well. These are just a few pointers I have…don’t have time to go through everything…it is a long battle but you will get there…good luck…I know what you are going through

My nephew had acne pretty bad all over, he uses Proactive and it works well for him.

Mix a little bit of vinegar and lemon juice and dab a cotton swab into it. Put it on the places where you have the acne. It works great and it ususally takes effect the next day. Good luck.
I KNOW PEOPLE SAY PROACTIVE WORKS, BUT IT DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE!! TRUST ME I HAVE USED IT! i HIGHLY suggest you go see a dermatologist!! if you need to find one in your area, call your doctor. they should prescribe you with a topical treatment called differin. that works well, but i suggest you ask to be prescribed a pill. that works wonders and will get rid of acne all over your body!

Here’s the problem. Proactiv might work for a day, it might work for two days… might even work for 3.
But it does not treat the source! which means you are going to have to buy proactiv for the rest of your life. Not very exciting is it? Acne will keep coming back again, and again. That’s because Proactiv just treats acne topically.
I have tried Proactiv, Murad, and Clean & Clear and it did not work for me. nor does it work for alot of people.. And as mentioned.. the few people that it does work for are always going to be fighting acne.
Here’s problem #2. Dermatologists. Yes dermatologists have some amazing drugs they can prescribe. but they can not CURE acne. they treat it. which means they are going to be prescribing you drugs for the next few years of your life.. and again these drugs never get down to the root of the problem.
And as if that’s not bad enough.. you’ve heard of accutane right? well it’s the #1 dermatologist recommended drug right now and if you went to the dermatologist chances are that’s what they will give you. well a recent study just confirmed that accutine increases risk of depression 2x! and is 900X! more likely to cause depression than any other acne medication.
And as if that’s not bad enough the side effects include: serious mental disabilities, severe stomach cramps, nose bleeds, unsightly peeling of the skin, loss of vision, loss of hearing.. you name it!
If you want to cure your back acne for GOOD then you have to deal with what caused the problem in the first place. which is internal.
