However, some of the dermaroller devices designed to be used by physicians only, have 2-2.5 mm. in length needle, that can penetrate throghout the facial skin and should cause some bleeding. Hi Ray. Thanks a lot for sharing all your knowledge to help those of us who suffer from acne. I have severe cystic acne for the past 15 years (face, neck, back, shoulder). I’ve read every articles and try to follow eating the right diet and taking the necessary supplements. After 3 months of following your advice, I have noticed that I got much lesser new acne. My question is: 1) Since I start eating the right diet, I am always hungry all the time. Eating vegetables and eating only meat does not make me full at all, because I used to eat carb so much ( lots of rice and bread ). Do you have any tips on how to keep yourself from being hungry all the time and still eating the right diet? 2) I notice that there are several diet that should be followed. In your opinion, which one should I follow: a) Low glycemic diet b) Alkaline diet c) Anti Inflammatory Diet 3) You recommend so many vitamin, oils, enzymes and supplements. I want to clear my acne, but at the same time, I don’t want to spend way too much money every month. Can you rank from the most important to the least important, so I can prioritize. 4) I know that fast food is really bad for you, but I don’t cook, so I always buy food outside everyday. Can you give some suggestions on which food at popular fast food restaurants that won’t cause breakouts? Which food at Subway, McDonald’s and Yoshinoya that you recommend the most? 5) Which meat ( red meat or white meat ) is healthier and the one you recommend? I heard that

Should i take Accutane?

I’m a 16 year old male and I’m wondering if i should take Accutane or not. I have mild/moderate acne and have micro cystic bumps to the left/right side of my chin going up to my lips and 3-4 medium-sized pimples on the side of my face during a breakout. I’ve tried Pro-active and that only “managed” my acne. I’m currently on Minocycline(100mg twice daily) and Duac in the morning/ Differin at night. I absolutely hate acne and it can lower my self- confidence a lot. I am very grateful i have it mild, but I would really like to be clear. The treatment I’m on right now seems to be doing a pretty good job, but i still get breakouts. It seems like every weekend i get three more pimples before the next monday of school. I’m going into the derm. soon and I’m sure he’s going to suggest accutane.. because he mentioned it could be an option last time i saw him. I just don’t know what i should do, just out wait the acne throughout high school and wish it to go away? Or risk accutane?
