I got a new acne treatment and after just three days of using it my face is now extremely dry. i stopped using it but It hurts to put on moisturizer because my face is so dry and cracked. And my whole face feels chapped. I was just curious how long it will take for my skin to get back to normal…and if anyone knows what i can do to speed up the process.
I have spent almost £700 at this clinic and my acne has gone really worse, Is there anything I could do to at all, if I am not satisfied with the response I receive after I complain to them. I am possibly wanting to be reimbursed and my skin condition is really distressing. any advice. Could I possibly claim my money back through small claims court at all.
Before I went on Accutane, I had severe acne on my face, chest, and back. My dermatologist had me try many topical creams and pills but nothing ever worked. Accutane completely cleared it up. Now it is mildly returning on my face, chest, and back. I’ve been using Pro-Activ but it hasn’t been doing anything. I’m very scared of my acne becoming severe again. Is there ANYTHING, like an at-home treatment, that is almost guaranteed to work?
My husband gets severe cystic and nodular acne on his legs, I have suggested he goes to a dermatologist, but he does not want to. I know they have OTC creams and gels to use, but they don’t seem to be helping him and the acne hurts him. I have already had him switch from soap to an acne control body wash. Is there some thing else I can try? Maybe a homeopathic treatment? I really appreciate any help you can give me, thanks!
Thanks all! I’ll show this to my husband and see what he wants to do
I went to a medi spa last year and had laser tretaments done. These treatments didn’t do a thinkg for the pock marks. what a waste of money.
So being EXTREMELY depressed aboout my appearance and not dating because I am scared of rejection, I went to a plastic surgeon. He thinks dermabrasion may help. But he said it is hard to guess at what the results will be like. he said if I decide to do the dermabrasion, I should take 3 weeks, preferably 4 weeks, off from school/work, avoid sun, etc to allow my skin to heal properely.
I want to do it if there is a chance it will help, but I am so fed up with spending so much $$ on stuff, only to be let down. If I get this done, not only will it cost a lot of money to get it done, but the time off from work is going to cost me as well.
I’ve had body acne (back, chest, and shoulders – the whole 9 yards) for about 4 years – and throughout all of them, I made the awful mistake of picking at almost every blemish I got. Unfortunately, African-American skin scars very easily from such damage. Just as unfortunately, I haven’t really decided to do anything about it until about 3 months ago (March). I’ve been using Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Cream just about every day since then. Some of the more recent scars have faded, but the ones that have been there for the whole 4 years are still going strong. Anyway, I would really appreciate any suggestions on what to do about this – products, herbs, anything! I’ve also been given the option to visit a spa in the near future, and any advice on what sort of treatment would help reduce scars would also be great.
Acne vulgaris, also known as common acne, is a problem that affects the lives of many teenagers (as well as adults).Pimples and breakouts can persist into adulthood , as if teenage acne is not embarrassment enough. People are always on the search for a treatment of acne that will ensure control and decrease breakouts. For many people, controlling acne(http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Acne.html) is a constant process because most of the time, treatment is only a momentary reprieve from the symptoms. This is the reason that the most effective treatments of acne are ones that wipe out pimples as well as maintain optimal health for the body, so that the rate of future breakouts is low. Taking acne medication for one’s lifetime is rather excessive for most people, It is for this reason that a lot of people are looking for alternatives to antibiotics in the form of zinc supplements. However, the question remains- Does zinc work?
I am a white male and I have had mild Acne for the past 7 years. My Ance is finally going away, but I have noticeable scars from the years of acne. What are some good, preferably cheap, acne scar treatments? Thanks for the help!
