Be careful if you have sensitive skin because this can aggravate it. Take about 1 teaspoon of baking soda and mix with a few drops of water until it makes a paste. Gently rub into skin in a circular motion and then rinse. If you use it as a mask, start for only a few minutes at a time so you can learn what your skin can handle. When you rinse, scrub into your skin gently in a circular motion. Enjoy! :)

Im 13 years old and i have had the same problem for awhile. I have quite alot of small blemishes ( the occasional “beast”) but whenever I get a new cleanser it doesn’t work well! right now i’m using spectro jel and neutrogena acne stress control spot treatment, and it’s working FARELY well, but i still have under-my-skin bumps on my nose and forehead,a single cystic blemish, and 1 or 2 white heads. sadly, this is the closest i’ve been to clear for awhile. my skin is ( most of the time)normal, not oily, and not dry, but it does get dry from certain products and i hate the way the flaky skin looks under make-up. So, as u see i’m getting very fusterated with my skin and I can’t order any proactive or other products for a couple months , which means ugly skin for a couple months:( so please tell me your goods, and if neccesary i can get ahold of mosturizers if it dries my skin out, but I’m really trying to avoid that since it will cause more pimples. ok well goodluck :)

Hi, I’m interested in removing my pimple scars and even out my skin tone. The dermatologist said that the most viable solution right now is to use stem cells in order to remove my pimple scars by 60 to 80%. I was wondering, is it safe and is it effective and has anyone here tried it? The dermatologist said it would cause redness at first.

A dermatologist recommended to take Yasmin (drospirenone+ethinylestradiol) in treating acne on my face and back. What are the pros and cons. Thanks

Effective Acne Treatment?

I have had acne for about 5 years now. It is not as bad as it used to be, a lot of my breakouts have calmed down. But I still have a ton of blemishes underneath the skin which cause a very bumpy look. The most affected areas would be my chin, either side of my chin, on my cheeks closer to my nose and my forehead.
I have gone to the doctor about it around 2 years ago and he perscribed a few different things, none of which worked. I use makeup everyday and mosturizer only in the winter when my skin gets very dry.

Does anyone know of any effective acne treatments that will give me results?

I am just curious if Doxycycline can be effective in the treatment of acne (mild-to-moderate case). My doctor recently re-prescribed me to a generic Doxycycline hyclate tablet – 100 mg. twice daily (I used to take 75 mg. twice daily). My acne, although fairly mild, has flared up a bit recently and I am just wondering if it would be worth it to initiate a second treatment of the medicine at a higher dosage (I have been off the medication for about 10 days and have developed a few cysts – which I think can be attributed to my body’s weaning off the medication). Any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated!!
