Some doctors said that there should be no bleeding during dermaroller treatment. However, some of the dermaroller devices designed to be used by physicians only, have 2-2.5 mm. in length needle, that can penetrate throghout the facial skin and should cause some bleeding. So, to treat deep acne scars by dermaroller, should there be any bleeding during the session ?

If you are a person with acne scarring, don’t despair. Unlike years gone by, acne scar treatment has come leaps and bounds. The scars can be treated cosmetically with topical creams to remove redness, or taken to the next level and removed with medical intervention. The treatments for scar removal are:

1.Microdermabrasion. You can think of it as taking sand paper to your skin and giving it a good rubbing. Microdermabrasion refers to a number of techniques that use instruments to literally peel the top layer of skin off, usually the dead layer of protective cells on the very surface of the skin. 2.Chemical peels. In this treatment a broad range of chemical treatments is applied on the skin. The peel (the chemicals) dissolve skin cells, promoting the growth of new tissue. 3.Dermal Fillers. Dermal fillers raise the area up diminishing the appearance of acne scars. The problem with dermal fillers however, is that they break down in the body, over time, and repeat procedures are necessary. 4.Punch Excision. With the scar removed, the skin is either sutured back together, or a skin graft is used. 5.Laser Treatment.. I am not expecting them to disappear completely, but I would not mind at least defeating the pink spots now that acne is over….
