I have been struggling with acne for almost 4 years. I am a teenager, so I know that contributes, but I’m sick and tired of it. I’ve used a bunch of different kinds of home treatments and I never have good skin. It makes me feel absolutely horrible about myself. It isn’t all over my face, but small pimples on both my jawlines, chin, forehead, and nose. Occassionally I get cystic looking zigs on my chin and nose. I just want clearer skin. So what do you suggest? Should I see a dermatologist? What would they do? And what is the general cost? A couple years ago I went through surgery where they removed my white heads and acnes. The operation was great but they have left a lot of acne scars on both my cheeks. Are there any remedies or medication that would help? They haven’t gotten any better and I’m also on proactive and some other acne medication.
