SmoothBeam for oily skin?

I have very oily skin and cystic acne. My dermatologist gave me a prescription for Tetracycline which i’ve been taking for 2 weeks now. It’s calmed the acne that I had down. But I still have oily skin which is my main problem. My dermatologist recommended I took SmoothBeam laser treatments but I want to know if anyone else has taken it and how effective it is. Will it help with my oily skin?

Please help.

After my Accutane session is over my dermatologist said I might want to consider laster treatment for my acne scars, does it work and does it hurt?

I just paid $18 dollars for this on the spot acne treatment by Murad. ( I didn’t know it was going to cost that much) Anywho, I have a really bad under the skin pimple that is super red and hurts when you touch it. I have put it on twice today. The tube does not say how many times per day to use.

Has anyone ever used this?
does it work?
How many times per day can you apply it?

ance treatment or hair removal?

i have had terrible acne for years that has only been controlled by minocycline antibiotics. recently however, i have decided to undergo hair removal treatments on my body (abnormal amount of thick dark hair that i am really insecure with)…and they told me i could not do this while on the minocycline without a doctor’s note. well the doctor basially would not write a note.

so now my question is what do i do??? do i discontinue my acne treatment for a while, at the risk of my face breaking to get the hair removal done?? or do i not do it???

What product seems ideal for my acne-prone skin?

Here is the problem:
I get blackheads (on my nose and chin), whiteheads (just on my chin), and then those nasty red zits (mostly along my jawline and the lower half of my cheek). Basically, the only type I don’t get is cystic (thank goodness!) My skin gets oily around the apples of my cheeks, dry around my mouth, and red in a lot of places. I’ve tried gel cleansers, but they dry my sin out. I’ve tried cream cleansers, but they break me out worse and make my skin oily. I need to change up my skin routine. What are your recommendations for me? When you fill this out, please use the product’s full name. I have asked questions as such before, but I just get the brand’s name (and most brands definitely make more than one cleanser)

Daily-
Cleanser:
Toner:
Moisturizer:

I am interested in microdermabrasion to reduce my pore size and to reduce the redness from my acne scars. Does this treatment work? What are the results I can expect?

Over the counter acne treatments (benzoyl peroxide) work GREAT–get my skin free and clear of acne.

However I hate to keep using it b/c it’s drying to the skin. For me, dry face = wrinkles and premature aging. My skin doesnt look supple and moisturizers bring back ance.

Problem is, once I discontinue using benzoyl peroxide, pimples come back full force.
