I have had cystic acne for about 7 months. All located in the same area of my lower left chin. It has never been anywhere else but this one spot and has been pretty steady since my first breakout. I recently got on Tetracycline (about a week ago) and it hasn’t done much at all. I am not sure how long it takes to work. Obviously topical treatments don’t work since the infection is under the skin. Does anyone know of vitamins that can safely reduce sebum production or help prevent they cysts from coming back if the Tetracycline clears them up? I am desperate, I don’t want scars, the rest of my skin is in excellent shape!
p.s. It is near impossible to get into a dermatologist around my area, I have an appointment for November – that was the earliest they could see me.

How well does Acne Scar treatment work?

I got really tiny acne scars, but some are under the skin, like darker spots that arent going away. So once they hopefully do, and i got small scars i just wanna know how much better Acne scar treatment will make it. Is it really expensive?

Dermatologists prescribe different types of medicine to acne victims, not knowing that the different skin may react to the medication. In the end they rip from their patients and leave them suffering.

There are various tips to be used to treat this disease but most will require proper direction or may not act at all. Go for treatment that you are sure of the results.

Cystic acne is very difficult to get rid of.  Not only does it enlarge and reshape your pores, it burrows deep into your skin, making it painful and very hard for regular cleansers to reach and kill.  I’ve suffered from cystic acne, and I’m here to tell you, there’s certain cystic acne treatments that work, and certain ones that don’t.  Here’s some of the best cystic acne treatment options that I’ve used and have found to be very successful when getting rid of this painful condition.

1. Sulfur treatment: You can order very inexpensive topical sulfur treatments online that are not only very effective, they’re easy to use and safe for your body.  All you need to do is apply it individually to the cystic nodules on your skin, leave on for 10-15 minutes, and rinse off with warm water.  Unfortunately, this is not something you can do every day; it’s more of a limited use item.

Natural Body Acne Treatments and Cures

One of the most common diseases today that affects about 95% of all teenagers is acne. Although acne is mostly common in teenagers, many adults (both female and male) suffer from different forms of body acne as well. Experts have proven that people with body acne suffer from low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and numerous other mental conditions.

The main cause of acne in teenagers is the imbalance in the hormones inside their body. This hormonal imbalance causes the body’s sebaceous glands to produce too much sebum (and oily substance) which clogs up the skin’s pores eventually causing acne. Genetics, stress, fatigue, cosmetics, and tension are all factors that contribute to acne as well.

Body acne – body acne treatment

Acne is a common skin disease characterised by a variety of changes: Komedonen (whiteheads and Mitesser) Papeln (sublime Red areas) and Pusteln (increased Hautausschläge filled with pus). Acne is found mostly on the forehead, nose and cheeks but body acne is also possible, and the legs, back and shoulders may be affected. Acne starts usually during the adolescence and hides significantly in the 1920s and 1930s, but occasionally, can someone about youth pass unharmed and develop acne in his 30s or 40s years.

The exact cause of acne vulgaris (acne is the word for the Greek word for Summit and means common vulgaris) is not known, but an increase of hormonal activity during puberty or menstruation, common skin bacteria, stress and Talgdrüsen (small glands under the skin), produced to much sebum (a thick bold case isolation and dead skin) can all contribute. It is probably not only a cause of acne, but many factors and there are many other explanations for why it occurs.
